RACE DISTANCES: Trail Runs (5 Mi, 25km, 50km); Ruck (5 Mi, 25km); Cross Country Mountain Bike (Cat 1 & 2=~18 Mi, Cat 3 =~9 Mi, 11-14 yr olds =~5 Mi, 10 & Under =~3 Mi); MTB & Trail Run Biathlon; Other Crazy Races & Contests (such as: King & Queen of the Hill Trail Run, Slow Mountain Bike Race, MTB limbo, River Jousting, Paddle Relay Time Trials, Zipline Target Toss, the List goes on)
Previously known as the J&J, this race is now getting moved to Labor Day weekend and will include trail running races, mountain bike races, biathlon races, and a handful of extra fun, crazy contests for prizes sprinkled in, that will result in this being one of the biggest trail sports bashes of the year. This long-standing race is officially now taking place on Labor Day Weekend each year to give everyone more time to enjoy the amenities and scenery.
While people are crossing the finish line, we will have an ongoing party of rookie trail runners, seasoned trail runners, hikers, joggers, mountain bikers, adventurists, and all our crews, friends, families, and new friends hanging out at one of the coolest adventure destination venues in the nation.
Extra Fun Contests will take place Friday evening, and throughout Saturday and Sunday. Some of these will also happen along with a fun meal outdoors at one of the easy to get to, relaxing, and family-friendly spots around the main camp property. Prizes will be up for grabs, along with major bragging rights!
Extra Races and Opportunities to do Camp’s Activities will be sprinkled in between all that. Trail Running Biathlon, Mountain Bike Biathlon, King and Queen of the Hill, River Challenges, Zipline Target Toss, Texas Slowest Mountain Bike Race, and on and on…Nobody is going to get bored at this event!
Check out Camp Eagle to see all the cool stuff you can do around your race, including a kids’ adventure camp they can join while you race. There’s also an 850 foot double zip line, a 3000 foot Mega Zip, rock climbing, rappelling, free fall super swing, waterfront, kayaking, SUPs, basketball, volleyball, fishing, and more. Camp Eagle also offers a Race Day Adventure Camp for a full day or half day on Saturday and Sunday. So, mom, dad, and guardians can race while your kiddo(s) are having the time of their lives!
Plan on staying the entire extended Labor Day weekend (Friday through Monday) for this event. This is a trail event you truly don't want to miss!

Your race entry comes with a bunch of good stuff! You can expect awesome gear you’ll actually want to wear, and a truly unique medal you’ll be proud to have. If you don’t like the item you received, you may swap your item on Saturday after the final PPU.
You’ll get the comfort of our world-renowned course markings so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. You’ll get our notorious staff and volunteer support (and probably leave with new friends you met at an aid station or finish line)!
The camp will making hot and cold food with good options, along with a Snack Shop throughout the weekend.
