Trip: A day clearing overgrown trails and some new trail building
When: December 2nd & 3rd, 1:00pm - 7:00pm COME FOR SOME OR ALL.

What: This private ranch is a great location for our Mosaic Trail Run but needs some help to recover some overgrown trails and build some new ones.
Get your friends and family, and join in on this chance to give back to the trails we love. The Indian Mound Ranch is the location for our Mosaic Trail Run. We get access to this private ranch for our race, but otherwise it doesn’t get a lot of traffic. The trails are overgrown and we get to make some new trails. Join us for the fun and reward of working on trails together.
GENERAL DETAILS:
If you can’t make it for all the time, you can come and go for any part of the day. No running required if you just want to come work on trails and relax or hike.
We will be working on recovering some overgrown trails and building a little bit of new trail. This park doesn’t get a lot of traffic, so we will be opening up some overgrown forested sections, as well as making improvements.
Come solo. Bring your friends. Bring your kids. There’s light duty work as well as some proper trail building to do.
We can’t have too many weedeaters, if you have one and don’t mind using it.
The ranch needs us. Please bring your friends.
LOGISTICS DETAILS:
We will provide some basic snacks, drinks, and water. Make sure you have the ability to carry hydration and snacks along with you.
Free access to the trails for these volunteer days.
No camping available at the ranch though. There are a few different camping places within 30 minutes to an hour though, if you’re coming from out of town. There are endless hotel and BnB options around.
